Briefly we can call trekking in Kackar as nature and mountain walk. Every year thousands flock to the region to perform this act. Especially the Barhal valley and Plateaus village is a suitable track for this event. Every year in 30th August, the glory walk is performed to the summit of Kackars. The lakes on Kackars and Altiparmaks is one big motive for this events. Yusufeli is rich in trekking tracks. Up to date 17 routes are determined. An 11 day trekking tour is common. In this 11 day trip, it is possible to live all four seasons. This feature is unique to the region. Especially the Barhal vallet presents its beauty to its visitors.

Barhal valley and Kackar's foot is famous for the fauna and flora. Hundreds of different butterfly, bird and wild animals live in this region. Also thousands of plant types can be viewed in summers. With a number of 50 glacier and crater lakes the region is a must see.
